Dorax International Investments was established in 1986 in Nicosia, Cyprus, by a team of trade finance professionals who recognised a critical gap: small and mid-sized businesses engaged in international trade were systematically underserved by the major banks, which reserved their trade finance capacity for the largest corporates.
From our founding, our mission has been to democratise access to world-class financial instruments — Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, SBLCs, and more — for businesses of all sizes, in markets of all risk profiles. We operate where major banks do not, and we do so with the same rigour and compliance standards as the world's leading financial institutions.
Today, with offices in Nicosia, Seychelles, and New York, and agents in over 30 countries, Dorax has financed more than $5 billion in international trade transactions across every major commodity, industry, and trade corridor.
